About UsClarence and Joyce Kennedy are the owners and operators of Deep Run Child Care Center . They began their center in 1993 after the birth of their first grandchild. They saw the need for quality childcare in the Deep Run Area. Since then, hundreds of children have benefited from the love and care they received from the teachers and staff. Mission StatementTo care for someone else's child, a caregiver must earn a high degree of trust from the parent. This trust can be enhanced by working together and learning about each other's needs and expectations. In this way we are better able to give children the love and care parents want for them during their time apart. We believe children should be given love, support, understanding, and comfort throughout the day. We attempt to provide children with educational activities that stimulate cognitive and social development. We also believe that children learn best through play. Therefore, we provide a large variety of toys, dress-up clothes, art supplies and books in each classroom. We strive daily to find better ways for adults and children to learn from each other and make the most out of each day they spend together.
